About
I’m Saleno, a creative technologist. I studied film with a focus on post‑production, the patient work of editing and color, and now point that training at a newer instrument: generative AI, treated less as a shortcut than as a strange new lens.
Behind the experiments sits a working production career. I’ve freelanced in content production, mostly as the one‑person team behind a YouTube channel I grew from two thousand subscribers to nearly fifty thousand. Releasing several videos a week, every step done alone, taught me a particular kind of taste, and the discipline to finish.
I’ve always been a technologist as much as a creative. Before film I spent a couple years at university as an Electronics and Communications Engineering major, writing C and C++ in Vim, taking things apart to see how they worked and putting them back together with whatever was on the bench. I never really stopped tinkering.
Film came after, and post‑production turned out to be a familiar kind of patience. Spend enough years in a timeline nudging things frame by frame until they feel right and a code editor feels like home, like two peas in a pod.
